Installux strengthens its expertise with the strategic acquisition of Comey

The Installux Group, a major player in the aluminium sector for over 100 years, has announced the acquisition of Comey, a recognised company in the field of raised access floors, thereby continuing its growth strategy in the fit-out of commercial premises.

With this acquisition, the Installux Group is expanding its offering by adding raised access floors to the solutions already provided by its brands Tiaso and Mecanalu, which specialise in movable partitions. This strategic merger enables the Group to offer a comprehensive and coherent range to its customers and partners.

Synergy for a comprehensive offering

Thanks to this alliance, the Installux Group becomes a key player in partitioning and the fit-out of commercial spaces. Comey, which produces nearly 300,000 m² of raised access floors annually for various sectors of the construction industry, such as offices, cleanrooms, data centres and technical rooms, will continue its operations under the same management in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne (89), thereby ensuring continuity for its staff and customers.

“We are now in a position to offer a comprehensive range of products and services: movable partitions and raised access floors. A logical combination that enables us to fully address the challenges of removability and reusability, key priorities for our clients and partners.”Christophe CANTY, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Installux Group.

A clear ambition for the future

This acquisition illustrates the Installux Group’s commitment to pursuing external growth and strengthening the synergy between the Group’s areas of expertise: a shared commitment to innovation, quality and customer service.

“This collaboration marks a strategic turning point for Comey’s future growth. I am delighted to have found in the Installux Group a buyer who not only shares our values but also guarantees the long-term future of our business at a local level.” — Marc Belbenoit, Director of Comey.
