The Installux Group has agreed to acquire SVF, thereby strengthening its expertise in the finishing works market

The Installux Group announces the signing of a memorandum of understanding with a view to acquiring the entire share capital of SVF, an Alsatian company renowned for its expertise in ready-to-install fire-rated glazed joinery. This transaction marks a new stage in the Group’s development and confirms its commitment to expanding its range of services for the construction industry.

A strategic acquisition to offer more comprehensive project solutions

With this acquisition, the Installux Group is now adding fire-rated joinery to its scope of operations. This is a natural progression for a company with a long-standing commitment to the design, production and distribution of aluminium solutions for the finishing stages of building projects, in both the commercial and residential sectors.

The objective is clear: to better support the needs of clients, main contractors, design offices, specifiers and installers by offering an expanded range combining traditional joinery, technical partitions and fire protection solutions. This synergy is particularly relevant on commercial construction sites subject to high fire safety requirements.

SVF, recognised expertise and ‘Made in France’ know-how

Founded in 1997 and based in Schaeffersheim, Alsace, SVF has established itself as a French specialist in fire-rated glazed joinery. The company controls the entire value chain: design, certification, manufacturing and distribution.

Its solutions cover a wide range of performance ratings, from E30 to EI180, in aluminium, steel or stainless steel. They meet the aesthetic and regulatory requirements of public access buildings (ERP), as well as the expectations of finishing contractors on complex and demanding projects.

An integration based on continuity and synergies

As part of the transaction, the SVF brand will be retained, as will its operational teams. The Installux Group has therefore chosen to preserve the skills, technical expertise and customer focus that have built the company’s reputation.

The teams from both organisations will work together to ensure a gradual, controlled integration that creates value for all the group’s partners.

Christophe Canty, Chairman of the Installux Group Executive Board, states:

“We are committed to carrying out this acquisition with a focus on continuity and shared development. We will work closely with SVF’s management teams to ensure a controlled and positive integration, and to jointly seize all the opportunities offered by this transformative development for our group.”

A new chapter in the history of the Installux Group

A family-owned and independent business for over 100 years, the Installux Group is, through this acquisition, continuing its development strategy based on complementary expertise, close ties with professionals and the creation of sustainable value.

Already present through its various brands in the construction, home improvement and fit-out of commercial and service sector spaces sectors, the group confirms its ability to anticipate market developments whilst remaining true to its core values: expertise, a people-focused approach and a long-term vision.
